There’s light at the end of the tunnel,
Believe in yourself and you’ll see;
True, life may throw us many a curve ball,
But that shouldn’t define who we can be!
Everyone faces a challenge,
At some point of time in their life,
But we try to regroup and restart,
Instead of being bogged down by the strife.
Of course no one said it was easy,
To overcome hardship and sorrow,
But we need to march forth and determine
To aim for a much better tomorrow.
In succeeding we overcome struggle,
And reclaim the power to be,
In control of our lives and our future,
And to master our own destiny.
The climb to the summit is steep,
And daunting at times it will seem,
But exhale, inhale and keep pushing,
And never give up on your dream.
Think of the moment you’ve made it,
And you see all the world at your feet,
The great satisfaction you’ll feel
Will add to the wonderful pride you will greet.
It doesn’t matter when you begin
On this journey to realize your goal,
What matters is that you take it,
And claim your rightful place in the world.
We have each been given a talent,
And a duty to give it our best,
Make a truly committed effort,
And trust Him to do the rest.
