One starry night, in Bethlehem, a Little Boy was born, His birthplace was a humble stall; His mission to bring Peace on Earth, And Good Will to us all. His father, Joseph, a carpenter, His Mother, Blessed Mary; He learned to work His father’s trade, But He came to do His Father’s Will, That for Heaven we be prepared. His name is Jesus, Son of God, Sent to save us all, He walked the Earth, and preached and prayed, That we might hear the Call. The Call to live our lives the way, That’s right, and kind and good, And that the Word of God by us Is fully understood. His teachings guide us day by day, To choices that are right; “Do Unto Others as you would have them do unto you”, Is a complete guiding light. “The Golden Rule”, as it is called, Tells us all we need to know, To be good and decent human beings, As our actions will all show. This Christmas let us celebrate the Blessings that we have, And share the gifts of kindness, and thoughtfulness and love, Let’s focus on the true meaning of Christmas and our lives, And count our many Blessings which are showered from above.
